Gorgeous aprons, and I love your header, what a beautiful place to live. It's lovely to have found your blog, I read a lot of Aussie ones and was wondering where all the NZ bloggers were, now I can see you've opened up a whole new world to me!
Love the colours! I have a couple retro aprons that were gifted to me. My little one has claimed ownership and she wears them around the house as a big dress.
And I thought it was just me who was obsessed with these aprons! Awesome! I've got at least 10 of them, not that I wear any of them myself :-). I love them. Thought I'd make something with them, up cycle them into something more useful like dresses for my daughter of use the fabric for some bunting....x
I have a little stash of such aprons. The smaller waistlines mean they are great for the kids too. Though I have to leave them for the next person now when I across them, or my collection would be out of control :)
I'm visiting from Blackbird has spoken. Do I love aprons?? Do I what!! I swear I cant cook unless I have an apron on, so you see they must have special powers!!
I've been reading your blog for a few weeks...about time I stopped long enough to say hello! Those aprons are fabulous - but the peg bag is my favourite!!!!! It really is lovely. Oh how I miss op shops. Where I live we only have one and I never seem to find anything exciting.
very pretty! i do wear an apron, a rather austere white cafe half apron, to wipe my hands on mainly though i am contemplating going the whole hog into retro-granny-housecoat-dom, if only i can find one i like that fits down the oppy x
They are gorgeous! Do you think that, if I started wearing aprons, I'd be able to enter the kitchen without disaster occurring all about me??? ;-) Carly x
maybe that's my prob...I need some aprons to channel my domestic goddess?!....these are sweet. the peg one would be really handy. but alas doubt they would fit my middle either. x
Yes they do give you domestic goddess powers, but only when worn with pearls!
ReplyDeleteLove the floral one. they look great swinging in the breeze!
They are amazing! Great fabrics. I always wear an apron when I'm cooking but sadly my waistline is far from 1950's.
