I shared here on Monday with you the edible part of our garden so with Autumn unfolding and Winter just around the corner I thought I would share a bit of mid week colour with you.
Does anyone have any ideas on what holds it's colour over the colder months? I love having potted colour around me and am wanting to do a little more.
Can you believe it is March already? Easter is just around the corner. Tell me your plans for the month ahead, go on! Hope your week has been a good one so far?
Hello new readers! And thank you as always for stopping by and for your friendly, helpful and encouraging comments....... Elaina xo

Beautiful colour and variety, I'd be proud of that garden too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletePansies and polyanthus are good flowering potted colour plants for winter - usually about Easter they start appearing at the garden centres. Iceland poppies did well for me one winter too - and the more I picked for inside the more they flowered.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I love about blogging. No need to trawl gardening sites or google, just throw a question out to the readers and you will get your answers. Thank you xo

Chrysanthemums and pansies….and i love popping a whole lot of autumn maple leaves into a vase!
ReplyDeleteAs for the rest of the month….it's going to be a little tough. It's lent and for me that means no sugar and trying not to be grumpy! xxx
Absolutely gorgeous. It is almost making me want to garden... I think for now I will just admire yours and all the beautiful colours x
ReplyDeleteNice to see some outdoor color - for me its all still white! We had to visit a conservatory last weekend to get a dose of warmth and good flowery smells! What a contrast to the outside world. If you're interested, I took some photos of the trip. Lovely place to visit if anyone is ever in Pennsylvania. http://lifewiththecrew.typepad.com/my-blog/2014/03/thankful-tuesday-3414.html
