Along with  flower in her hair, this beautiful fairy is holding a tiny Christmas wreath.

Perfect for the top of your Christmas tree or displayed with other decorations around the home.  These sweet fairies are lovely as a "keep you safe" sleep angel and a few hung along a twisty branch make for a magical mobile too.

Retro post..............from Zara

The postman has been today! 

I recently won Zara's Giveaway - a tea towel cushion cover, handmade by the clever lady herself.  I love the retro orange and yellows she has used.

I had my fingers crossed to win this as the cushion cover goes really well with our super bright orange bed spread (this is the colour you get when you "let" your other half pick the bed linen).  I have a stash of cushion inners in the cupboard and can't wait to add this to our bed.

Enclosed also were some extra goodies - retro aprons which she knows I love and a Butterick Apron pattern.

Zara has a beautiful blog called  Zaranne Handmade - which is filled with her makings, amazing op shop finds, Johnson Brothers crockery and milk glass galore.

Things around here have been a bit busy.  The silly season is well and truly here.  Thankfully most of the Christmas events for our house have been and gone.  Bell has finished school for the year and we have Tom's kindy farewell this Wednesday and then the kindy Christmas party Friday morning after the final swimming lesson of the year.  Neighbourhood drinks on Friday night and we are pretty much done.

I'm looking forward to catching up on some blog reading this week and writing a few catch up posts here.  There was not a lot of time for either last week.
