Spring has sprung and with it the motivation to freshen things up. I've been making lists of what needs sorting and cleaning around the house - the Spring clean is upon us.
I'm going to have a mini makeover in our bedroom. Nothing grand or expensive. Just using what I have. I'm going to introduce some Spring colour. Yellow in particular which I'm really loving right now.
I have my flowery op shopped pillowcases, my gifted "Better Together" pillowcases*** and scraps of retro wallpaper - that I thought I could frame along with some retro vintage sheeting.
Do you like to change and freshen things when new seasons come about?
Does the Spring cleaning bug hit your house this time of year?

Sweet yellow happening here! I can't wait to see your change up! You are freshening up while we are getting cozy for fall! So funny that we are in the reverse!!! All the best this week!!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for Spring cleaning - though I had grand plans for my studio and they didn't eventuate because I have been trying to build up stock for a market and haven't and time to pull the whole place apart and fix it up, which would mean not being able to work in their for awhile. Perhaps after the market?
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all that yellow, particularly the pillow cases and the vintage wall paper. The one on the right looks so familiar. I 'think' my Grandma had some as a drawer liners in a piece of furniture when I was a child. Looking forward to seeing the results of your decorating! :)
I'm loving all that yellow! I often find cleaning kicks in as the sun starts to shine and show up all my dusty corners!
