The rubber stamp is making a come back! In our house anyway.
I'm loving my wooden stamp set and have recently found the Doily stamps online. I've been using them on labels and homemade cards so far and they partner up nicely with the washi tape I think. I also have some preserves to label up and will definitely make use of these sweet stamps.
My sister in-law recently gave me a wee package which contained the calico measuring tape and a "To From" stamp. She had no idea that I had started a collection of stamps. Like minds I think!
It reminds me of my childhood - stamps for good behaviour and that wonderful sound of the Librarian giving your books a good thump with the "check out" stamp. I wanted to be a librarian when I was little purely for the fact that I would be able to stamp books all day.
What's your favourite craft at the moment? Do you like to "stamp"?

Ohhhh friend!!! I love to stamp!!! I have a whole box of letters but I am thinking I need to add some round decor stamps like the ones above! They are perfectly fabulous!!! Currently I am working on felt hair clips for my youngest daughter...she has a bit of a funky hair style as her hair gets in her eyes so much!!! Have a rocking week!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh yes, I love to stamp! Any and all stationery makes me a little giddy ;-) I have a wooden alphabet set too, I think the beautiful wonky type adds charm to just about anything. Your doily stamps are gorgeous, I'll have to keep an eye out for those. I'm also quite taken with your art deco washi tape too. Endless possibilities! Belinda x
ReplyDeletePS. cute new header!!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet are your tags! I've been wanting to get my hands on some stamps. Found a few on Etsy that I think I may have to invest in! Sunny would have a field day with them :) My craft at the moment is finishing up a few handmade birthday pressies for Sunny - 2 quilts and a sweet doll.

ReplyDeleteI have those exact same letter stamps! I bought them just before Christmas and they come in so handy. I love the doily ones, I will have to look out for those. Your tags are fab. x
ReplyDeleteOh wow those gift tags look gorgeous Elaina! I think you've found your crafty-calling!! xox
ReplyDeleteLooks like you can have a lot of fun with those stamps. I stamp and card make, occasionally dabble in jewellery making, knit - usually small items, sew and I'll count cooking and baking as a craft - cos I do a lot of that do. All good fun.
ReplyDeleteI don't stamp (yet) but I did spot (and almost bought) a set of alphabet stamps while I was at the shops this week.
ReplyDeleteLovely stamps! They look like hours of fun!!
ReplyDeleteI nearly bought some alphabet stamps today.
ReplyDeleteThey are just perfect for gift tags.
