Four/52

"A portrait of my children together, once a week, every week, in 2014."

Last days of the school summer holidays.  It has gone too fast.  Today was cloudy, hot and humid.  A run round at the beach first before heading home to chill and catch up on some sleep in the afternoon.

Bell - so glad she wanted to be included in this years portraits.  It will most likely be the last year she likes to be here in this space.
Tom - after almost a whole year of not wanting his photo taken, this year he is more than obliging.  Cheesy smiles all round.
George - Monkey. End of story.

Joining in with Jodi's "52 project".

    1. I know Northland well. We were there for Christmas and New Year, I blogged a "Far North Adventures" post a couple of weeks ago. It is so beautiful. Drop me an email if you want any hints of where to go xo

  7. gorgeous and a little heartbreaking with the added notes about it being you daughter's possible last year featured in your blog! I am feeling the fastness of their growing up here as well with my own children! It scares me and makes me want to slow time and cling on! wooosh people say time goes quick with kids, but when you are 'in' it, especially those last few innocent years, when santa and fairies still rule, the clock ticks loud and oh so very fast xxxxxx

    1. That trampoline belongs to one of the beach residents who has placed it down on the beach front for kids to play on. There is also a tree hut and amazing play things made from drift wood. It is our favourite beach xo

  10. Wow, a trampoline without any protective netting on the sides, and in a public place - wouldn't be allowed here in America. Looks like a great place to jump!

  11. What a great pic Elaina and love that pose of Tom's. Mine are the same, either refusing to be photographed or posing like a Target catalogue. mel x
