Op shop show off........milk glass

I have been eyeing up Mel and Zara's amazing milk glass collections for a while now, but I've never come across any in the op shops.  I have seen pieces on-line but am more in love with the idea of coming across a dusty piece while out and about.

I stumbled across my first milk glass item while on holiday.  Sitting amongst dozens of bits n bobs.  A bit dusty and with some dubious marks.  All washed off easily and at $4 I'm really pleased.

I love it and hope to be able to start my own milk glass collection.  I'm going to go by the mantra........

"If I collect it, more will come".

I'm going to need a bigger granny cabinet.

Found anything great lately? Pop over and share it with Max.

  3. Well done! Now that you have one, you will start finding all its' family and friends! I even have a little spare that I am happy to send you, I haven't forgotten that an absolute age ago I promised to send you some vintage sheet FQ's and I also have had some books for your boys squirrelled away. Just a few weeks until they are both at school and I will have some time up my sleeve- can you email me your address ( again) and this time something will actually happen! mel x
